At Grey Chapel Art Gallery, Glastonbury Photo by Warren Hudson This photo was taken during my exhibition at the Grey Chapel Art Gallery in Glastonbury. I've exhibited a number of times in Glastonbury. It's a wonderful place and we often go there to see our friends and visit the lovely abbey and Glastonbury Tor, both of which I've painted. |

Sat under the Big Belly Oak, Wiltshire Photo by Warren Hudson I adore trees, forests and woodlands and one of my favourite trees is the Big Belly Oak in Savenake Forest. It's a wonderful old tree, absolutely huge and full of character. It's a very ancient tree, said to be around 1200 years old. I'm sat in front of the hole in the trunk, which is almost like a little cave. |

Strawberry Hill House, London Photo by Warren Hudson A while ago, the Strawberry Hill House Trust invited me to do an exhibition at this wonderful old house. It was the home of Horace Walpole and is one of the finest examples of Georgian Gothic Revival architecture in the country. This is a photo of part of my exhibition in Long Gallery. |

Strawberry Hill House, London Photo by Warren Hudson This photo was taken before the main private view of my exhibition at Strawberry Hill House. It was a very grand evening and in such a wonderful, historical setting - I think we had over two hundred guests. The house has since been completely restored and is now open to the public. |

Under the ash tree at Long Meg, Cumbria Photo by Gareth Alderman There's a wonderful stone circle in Cumbria called Long Meg and Her Daughters. It's an amazing place with a very special atmosphere. Two huge ash trees grow inside the circle. Here, Warren and I are sat underneath the largest of the trees. I've painted the circle and the trees a number of times. |

Cork Street Exhibition, London Photo by Warren Hudson I love Cork Street. It's one of those really special places to exhibit - a great atmosphere, lots going on and with such an incredible array of top galleries, the street always seems alive. It's a very famous place and was once nicknamed 'the art street of Europe'. This photo shows the front window of one of my shows in Cork Street. |

Cover for Mick Mercer's magazine Photo by Lynda Barrett Mick Mercer is probably the best known writer and critic of all things Goth. I did a photo shoot with Mick and his partner, Lynda as Mick was doing a feature on me and this is the photo they used for the magazine cover. It was taken at the wonderful Strawberry Hill House under one of the lovely arches. |

The sea shore at night, Tintagel Photo by Warren Hudson Tintagel is like a second home. It's a truly special place and we spend as much time there as we can. The sea is very magical when it's dark and this photo was taken late one night down on the beach, just a little way from Merlin's Cave. I've done a number of paintings of Tintagel and the surrounding countryside. |

Dragoncon, Atlanta Photo by Warren Hudson Some years ago I was invited to be an Artist Guest of Honour at Dragoncon, a huge media convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Over 50,000 people attend the convention and it was great fun to be a guest there. This was the wonderful view from our hotel room - a fabulous image of the city. |
|
Dragoncon, Atlanta Photo by Warren Hudson I was very busy at Dragoncon and as one of the guests I had a pretty hectic schedule, so I didn't have much time to take photos but I was looked after incredibly well. There was a fantastic buffet lounge for the convention guests - no chocolate but lots of amazing food. Here, I was enjoying parfait. |

Buttermere, Cumbria Photo by Warren Hudson Sat in a field with the misty Buttermere fells behind me,- a perfect spot. My beloved Lake District has influenced me perhaps more than anywhere else, I've spent so much of my life there and know it so well. It's hard to put into words, the bond I feel with this wild yet magical place. I'll never tire of painting it. |

Photo shoot at Whitby Photo by Robert Townshend We always go to the Whitby Goth Weekends and I've done a number of photo shoots there for various photographers. This photo was the result of a lighthearted moment during a photo shoot with Robert Townshend - I was looking out to sea, hoping for a chocolate laden ship! |
